Known for his innovative, experimental soundscapes and intricate sample-based production skills, Mark Divjak (a.k.a. MARKA SAN) has been a presence on the music scene for over a decade. The Slovenian bass music producer and DJ first gained recognition as one half of the now-disbanded dubstep duo DubDiggerz, but since then has built a successful solo career, expanding his already considerable influence on the scene. Their music has debuted on esteemed record labels such as Gourmetbeats, helmed by North America’s leading Dubstep veteran Joe Nice, J:Kenzo’s Artikal Music UK, Plant Power Records, Navy Cut, TRUSIK, DUPLOC, and many others, spanning around eleven years of active duty and countless heavy bass lines.

Launched at the end of 2020, Mark San’s musical work as a DJ and producer breaks musical confines and shapes a genre blend of Grime, Footwork, Dubstep, Jungle, Hip-Hop, and Electro. The founder of the renowned Dubstep group DeepEnd! and the latest release from the record label NO KLAN recordings, he erases genre boundaries in favor of musical freedom. Marka San also maintains two bi-monthly radio shows on Noods Radio (UK) and Radio Student (SLO), continually showcasing his talent as a curator and selector. On top of a series of well-received releases on his labels, significant achievements include releases on the internationally recognized label Deep Dark & Dangerous and the Slovenian arts and culture hub Rx:tx.
