The Cultural Center Laoshi (KCL) collective was initiated out of love for audio-visual expression, nature, art, and most importantly, a quality soundsystem. The foundational concept of the Cultural Center Laoshi emerged back in the “distant” year of 2020. The work began behind the scenes, preparing to debut with the first significant outdoor event – “Tekuti in Laoshi” (2021), in collaboration with Kordoom HI-FI soundsystem. Through continuous effort and a series of smaller events, by expanding their business-social circle, they began collaborating with the Egzoterra collective, as well as other collectives and associations from the region. During the organization of various events, including [Tekute vol.2], the need for a new soundsystem emerged. From this need and a desire for progression, the <KCL Sound Service> was born. Based on the principles of old Martin audio and Turbosound horn designs, combined with RCF and B&C drivers and analog amplifiers, the Sound Service specializes in fast and hard rhythms, thick bass lines, and scratched vinyl records.
