After his own reincarnation and successful confrontations with fears, challenges, dilemmas, and yearnings, Tomislav Đudarić, better known as Đutko, found himself in the right place at the right time. Wherever there’s good vibes, fun, and authenticity, Đutko and his backing band “Plodovi Zemlje” (Fruits of the Earth) spent time immortalizing a collection of new songs. The new album “Šišaj majstore!” (Cut it, master!) will see the light of day in all the better cafes, taverns, and the vastness of the internet on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Following his debut album “Slušaj mala!” (Listen up, girl!), where Đudarić managed to subordinate his own demons by channeling them through a somewhat calmer musical form, the second studio album definitely deviates from that sound and such an auditory aesthetic. As a result, it appears rawer, sharper, and louder, resembling some kind of folk carnival passing through the city on a quiet Sunday afternoon. It’s a festival that, after a drop or two, will awaken the spirit of the carnival, inspiring the individual to dive headfirst into action, without looking back at what was.

As Đutko himself points out, his versions – agro, ethno, and turbo, with this new album can be attributed to the concept of rock music. From a textual perspective, this time Đudarić deals with the motivation for action and problem-solving, acceptance, empathy towards close people, and uniting people dancing synchronously in a circle.

“Šišaj majstore!” was recorded, mixed, and produced by Josip Kepe at Schnell rock studio in Voloder. Along with Đudarić, all members of Plodovi Zemlje participated in the process: Laura Tandarić, Irma Bulaja, Vlado Remeš, and Borna Jambrošić; as well as various known and lesser-known guests: Saša Antić better known as Alejuandro Buendija, Klara Dolenčić, Sara Velić Horvat, Ana Kovačić, Leo Beslać, Marin Tandara, and Marko First. Promotional performances across mountains and plains are coming soon.
